Ian lives in Auckland with his wife Catherine. From 2003 to 2008, he served as office administrator and assistant to Glyn Carpenter, then National Director of the New Zealand Christian Network (formerly Vision Network of New Zealand). This ministry helps the Church in New Zealand become more united and effective, while presenting a reasoned Christian voice to media and government.

Ian’s passion for Kingdom impact continues through his work with New Zealand Christian Events, where he helps promote national gatherings and church initiatives via the website and social media.

In his downtime, you’ll find Ian watching movies with Catherine, cheering on the All Blacks (especially against Australia 🏉), or exploring new places.
